Seinäjoki 5.3.2011
Yesterday we kicked off the agility competition season 2011. I participated with Hasty and Gilja in class 3 in Ylistaro.
The first race with Hasty was quite good, faultless, but it felt a bit slow. Ended up on second place.
Gilja followed me well in the first race, even though we haven´t trained more than once together this winter, but she sneaked at the judge at every contact obstacle and didn´t go into the sack. The result from the first race was 10 fp and overtime.
Hasty´s second race wasn´t bad. Faultless and second place in this race also. But, we really need to speed up the contacts! At least she waited for my vocal signal this time. 🙂
The last race with Gilja felt good with no faults, but also here we have some small things to train on. I´m glad Gilja came all the way down, and waited for my signal, on all contacts even though she was slow and had her eyes partly on the judge. In this race we got some overtime, but ended up on second place. So overall a nice saldo from out debut competitions this year.
